My Toddler's Favorite Disney World Attractions
Over the years, I have gone to Disney World more times than I can count. At each stage of my life, I have found magic there in different ways, and my favorite things to do there have changed. I definitely titled myself a “Disney enthusiast” by the time my first son was born, and when he was about 3 days old I was already itching to take him to the parks (no, I didn’t take him when he was that young, calm down).
Disney was the first vacation destination we visited as parents. Though some might feel as though the cons outweigh the pros for taking super little ones to Disney, I would beg to differ. In fact, I feel as though Disney is one of the best places for young families to go because of pure ease. We have returned numerous times since my kids were born, and we are now gearing up to take another trip in a few weeks!
All that being said, my oldest son Taylor who is a little over 2.5 has visited the parks enough to have a list of favorite attractions. I wanted to share them here with you in case you are planning a trip with little ones and are wondering which attractions to try! So, without further ado, here are Taylor’s go to attractions at the Disney World Parks:
Small World: Taylor would go on this attraction everyday if he could! Now that he’s a little older, he loves to name the different countries that the dolls are from when we pass by them. Such a fun game (and educational, too!)
Under The Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid: The Little Mermaid has become one of Taylor’s favorite Disney movies, so being able to see his underwater friends brings him so much joy!
Peter Pan’s Flight: This one is such a classic (and one of my all time favorites too!) Peter Pan is Taylor’s hero, so this one awed him from the very beginning. The interactive que is incredible before you board your flying pirate ship, and this sweet ride makes him ooh, awe, and giggle time after time.
Frozen Ever After: If we can snag a FastPass for this one, we always will! Taylor has a great time saying hello to Olaf on it, and he loves seeing all the color and listening to the beautiful music on this attraction.
The Seas With Nemo and Friends: This one is probably Taylor’s favorite attraction in all of the Disney parks. He has so much fun seeing his favorite stars from the Finding Nemo film, but what wows him even more is seeing the real marine life throughout the ride as well as spending time in the seas and exploring all the aquariums and exhibits right at your fingertips when you hop of your clam shell!
The Epcot Character Spot: The last 2 trips we’ve been on, Taylor has LOVED getting to meet and love on his favorite Disney pals. The Character Spot at Epcot is amazing for just that! There are always a few characters there, and the fact that he gets one on one time with each of them is so much fun!
Alien Swirling Saucers: On our most recent trip, Taylor was tall enough to go on this ride, and he had an absolute blast! This attraction is short and sweet, but so much fun! He laughed and laughed the entire time, and still talks about the “swirly ride” often!
For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing Along Celebration: This show is super fun for parents and kids! As a mama, I love being able to use this show as an opportunity to take a little break while still entertaining the youngster. Taylor loves being able to sing along to his favorite Frozen tunes, and the snow at the end always wows him!
Navi River Journey: This attraction is absolutely breathtaking. Taylor loves spotting all of the whimsical creatures that he encounteres on this ride. Everyone in our family loves this one!
Kilimanjaro Safari: What toddler doesn’t love getting to see wild animals up close?! This attraction always holds Taylor’s attention; he loves naming all of the animals he can spot.
Adventurers Outpost: This is another super fun place to meet Disney characters! This meeting set up really well for little ones too, and I gotta say, Mickey and Minnie are adorable in their safari gear.
Well, that is it my friends! I am one blessed mama to be able to share the magic of Disney with my little men often, and it warms my heart to see the lasting memories that we are creating for our sons at such a young age. What are your little one’s favorite attractions? What are yours?
